Hailing from the great state of Maine, Emmett is studying Chemical and Biological Engineering and joined the Brangwynne Lab as a sophomore in the spring of 2023. He is interested in learning how phase separations affect neurodegeneration, as well as the onset and progression of cancer, and how those processes can be studied using experimental and computational methods in the Brangwynne Lab. At Princeton, Emmett is a member of Engineers Without Borders and Club Flag Football; in his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, skiing, and generally being in the outdoors.
