Hongbo is a Princeton Bioengineering Initiative – Innovators (PBI2) Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow. He did his undergraduate studies at Tsinghua University and graduate work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in Chemical Engineering. At Princeton, he will be working with Cliff Brangwynne, Andrej Kosmrlj, and Sujit Datta to seek new and quantitative knowledge of living systems from experimental images by combining biophysical modeling and data driven methods. Outside of research, Hongbo is interested in nature, photography and is an amateur astronomer
