Jing is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Brangwynne lab. He did his undergraduate studies at Tsinghua University and graduate work at Harvard University. During his graduate studies at Harvard, he became very interested in soft biomatter physics and was relentlessly exploring the mechanics of biopolymers and cells, under the supervision of Prof. David A. Weitz. At Princeton, he is fascinated by the phase separation in the cells and is excited to work with Prof. Cliff Brangwynne to seek new understandings of phase separation in cell nuclei and develop new engineering approaches to control the phase separation. Outside of his research, Jing is a big fan of movies. He is also interested in badminton and hiking.
